Kenny Richard is a portrait and commercial photographer whose business is built on faith, purpose, and calling. With 15 years of experience—five of them full-time—Kenny has earned the prestigious Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) credential and the Master of Photography degree from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). His work has received numerous awards at the local, state, national, and international levels for both portraiture and commercial imagery. Whether he’s photographing a senior with big dreams or a beautifully designed interior, Kenny brings a blend of technical mastery and heartfelt connection to every frame.
In addition to running a successful studio, Kenny is deeply invested in the photography community. He serves on the board of Dallas PPA (three years strong), holds Fellowship status with both Dallas PPA and Texas PPA, and is a PPA Councilor representing the state of Texas. His leadership is driven by a desire to help others grow—not just in skill, but in purpose and confidence.
As a speaker and educator, Kenny shares what he’s learned with honesty, humor, and humility. He speaks on topics ranging from image competition and lighting to workflow and the spiritual side of running a business. Whether teaching from a stage or mentoring one-on-one, his heart is always the same: to equip, encourage, and uplift fellow creatives in their God-given calling.

Growing up in South Florida, one of my favorite hobbies was underwater photography.
After earning a degree in Advertising Design from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. I realized my real passion was photography, I served twelve years as Director of Photography for the audiovisual division of a Fortune 500 Company.
Still looking to fulfill my passion to be creative, I ventured into my own business in 1990. Whether producing images in the studio or on location, I focus on professional quality and creativity.
In June of 2025 I partnered with Kenny to continue serving Studio 3 clients as I transition to my love of the outdoors an doing photography workshops on wildlife, landscape and Milky Way photography.
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and jeeping in the mountains of Colorado, hiking and photography wildlife in their natural habitats.
